There are a couple of ways to deliver a baby.One of those ways is basically through midwifery and the use of a midwife.Many women certainly choose this way to deliver their baby and there are a couple of major reasons for this. In this article we are going to look at the main reasons or philosophies of a midwife.
First of all the main tenet of midwifery is that it is a woman centered care for pregnancy and delivery.Its real goal is to not have to use all the different medical procedures that are commonly considered as normal for a delivery. Things like medicine and hospitalization are not considered in the woman’s best interest. The goal is to have as natural a delivery as possible.
